THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO UPCOMING WEATHER/FLOODING, AND OTHER ISSUES. WE HOPE TO FIND ANOTHER TIME THIS SUMMER TO DO THIS EVENT.Join Urban Sketchers Twin Cities and Urban Sketchers Chippewa Valley For a Sketch Walk in Beautiful Red Wing Minnesota!
When: Saturday, June 22nd (Rain date will be Sunday, June 23rd)
Time: 10am-2pm
Details:
10am-11:45am-
10:00-Meet/Greet in the lawn by the Red Wing Depot (420 Levee Street, Red Wing MN 55055). Look for sketchers with USk signs.
-Sketch the riverfront area, farmer’s market, Levee park, and other things of interest
11:45- Sketch book throw down/group photo near the Depot (we’ll decide on a spot when there).
12-1:45pm-
Sketchers gather for lunch (examples- Hanisch Bakery and Coffee shop and Mandy’s Coffee and Cafe are located on W. 3rd St. Other eateries are also nearby) and more sketching...
-Sketch downtown Red Wing
1:45- Sketch book throw down/group photo- Meet at the fountain at John Rich Park (315 W. 4th St), located between Main Street and W. 3rd Street and East and West avenues.
2:00- Head back home or stay longer for more sketching, ice cream at a shop, and hanging out!
