Canasta and Mahjong Social Play

Do you play American Mahjong or Canasta? Join Emily, canasta and mahjong instructor from The Canasta Connection, for an evening of open play at Moldova Restaurant and Cafe. All levels welcome! Choose to play canasta or mahjong and we'll match you based on level and help out if you have any questions during play. Formal play begins at 7pm, but arrive between 6-7pm if you would like to order dinner and mingle beforehand.

Food and drink is available to purchase until the end of the event. We'll provide all supplies for canasta and mahjong. Just bring your mahjong card if that is your game of choice. We have a handful of 2024 cards available for purchase.

Sign up on your own, with a friend, or your whole group! This is intended to be a great opportunity to play in a fun and inclusive, low-stakes environment.

Emily and Bev are a mother-daughter duo and mahjong and canasta teachers in the Greater Boston area and on Cape Cod.
