With the help and guidance from Fred Worthington, learn the basics techniques to paint roses in the traditional style of Canal Art.
Fred is a Signwriter and Canal Artist. Originally from Salford, Fred has been a Signwriting since the age of 15 and has 20 years experience in Canal Artwork.
Fred runs 3 levels of Canal Art workshops, this workshop is the beginners level, suitable for all.
During the workshop you will learn a brief history of Canal Art and work on your own canvas. You can learn how to plan out your design in chalk and work with enamel paints. Take hope your traditional art piece and enjoy a creative day of painting.
All equipment, materials and canvas are provided in this workshop.
Just bring a packed lunch as it's a full day workshop and please wear old clothing.
