Canada Day Road Race in Edmonton 2024

Celebrate Canada Day at Alberta’s center of democracy.

Canada Day at the Legislature offers free entertainment and activities for all ages at one of the most picturesque places in our province, the Alberta Legislature Grounds. One such activity is the Canada Day Road Race of Edmonton, which creates so much hype that nobody wants to miss! This race has a maximum registration cap of 500 entrants.

Event Schedule:

• Mon., July 1, 2024, 7:05 a.m. - 15km Walk
• Mon., July 1, 2024, 7:30 a.m. - 15km Run
• Mon., July 1, 2024, 7:35 a.m. - 5km Fun Run/Walk
• Mon., July 1, 2024, 7:40 a.m. - 2.5km Family Fun Event

There are 2 water stations on the course. Depending on your event, you will pass one or both stations twice.

Sports drink (Gatorade) and water will be available at both stations.The Canada One/Subaru water station is located on River Valley Road, and the Metta Yoga water station is located at the top of Emily Murphy Hill. BAG DROP a bag drop is located in the Athletes area at the Legislature Grounds.

Note: The above fees are in Canadian dollars. Taxes and processing fees are not included. Canadian residents are the only applicants. Overseas applicants are not accepted.
