This year, we’re turning up the energy and celebrating across the heart of downtown, offering more places to gather, explore and celebrate together. Join us for a day of lively performances and activities that highlight our country’s diversity.

🚌 Hop on the free Canada Day shuttle running continuously between Eau Claire and East Village from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (every 15 minutes). We also encourage you to explore the events by carpooling, taking transit, biking or using e-scooters.

Enjoy an Indigenous Spotlight and Powwow, an Artisans Market, and the Sport Calgary hub—where you can try inflatable soccer, luge, or ski jumping!
➡️ Municipal Building & Sien Lok Park
Don’t miss the dragon walk, lion dance, and cultural fashion show.
➡️ East Village
Get festive with airbrush tattoos and face painting. Stop by the Tourism Calgary and EAST Village Calgary Team booths and grab a bite from local food vendors.
11AM-8PM
➡️ Eau Claire Plaza
Enjoy live music, dancing, face painting, and an urban beach with water features.
2-9:30PM
➡️ Prince’s Island Park
Alongside the main stage, enjoy a family-friendly beer garden, great picnic spots, and a low-sensory rest stop if you need a quiet breather.
