About the Host:Tevin Scott is a multihyphenate filmmaker, visual artist, and stand up comedian from Charleston, SC. A graduate of Howard University, Tevin honed his filmmaking skills in undergrad before moving to LA to pursue a career in film and television. His tv writing staff and production credits include BET’s The Quad, HBO’s Insecure, Netflix’s Raising Dion, and Netflix’s My Life With The Walter Boys.

Tevin is the creator of the original HBCU series, THE MECCA, which was backed by Issa Rae and licensed to REVOLT TV in 2023. It was an official selection to the Charlotte Black Film Festival, The Baltimore International Black Film Festival, The Micheaux Film Festival (LA), and his self produced platform, TAFF: The Auteur Film Festival. After working in Hollywood for the past 8 years, Tevin currently resides in Charlotte NC, where he plans to continue building RTS Vision and creating a bridge from Hollywood to his homelands of the Carolinas.
