There is no cost for the event, as Cantigny provides the site for free. Firewood and fire pit is provided at no cost. Tickets to visit the First Division Museum have been reserved for our pack on June 19th. Our slot to enter is between 10:00 and 1:15 but we must be out by 1:15. Once you leave, you will not be able to enter again, so make sure that you have seen everything that you want before you exit.
We are allowed to setup anytime on Friday and must must pack up gear and vacate the campsite by 12:00 pm Saturday (we will communicate ASAP if a group cancels Saturday night allowing us to stay 2 nights).
Cantigny Park is able to accommodate tent camping only (no campers or trailers). We will only be allowed to bring one trailer/vehicle for our group. Pack lightly and consider bringing a wagon to haul in gear.
Group Entrance (all group members): Please do not enter the park via the main gates or the private drive on Winfield Road. Please enter through gates at the rear of the park – off Shaffner /Mack Road (1S050 Shaffner Road). Yellow signs will indicate where to park and direct you to the campsite. No personal vehicles will be allowed to enter the roadway by the campsite. Please be prepared to carry your gear from the parking lot. No parking at the restrooms or campsite. The parking spaces next to the site are for loading and unloading only.
Unloading: A strict limit of one trailer is allowed to unload on the roadway. Trailers must unload and move to the designated parking lots within one hour of arriving NO personal cars are allowed on the roadway. Parking for cars and trailers is limited to the Greenhouse and/or Administration Building parking lots.
Plan to bring your own food/snacks for yourself (group food tbd at this time).
