Honey's not the half of it! Honey bees get all of the love, but it's all of our other bees that do the heavy lifting in keeping Texas ecosystems healthy.
Join us at Cedar Hill State Park for a Ranger-led program all about the native bees of Texas. Which bees sting? Why are they fuzzy? Learn about Fairy Bees, Sweat Bees, Bee Hotels and more as we discuss how these local pollinators help us and how we can help them!
When: Saturday, June 29th, 2024 from 7:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Scout Hill in North Day Use Area
Limited seating provided: Bring a camp chair or blanket if you have one.
Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!

Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
