Campfire: Game Jam for High Schoolers!

I’m sharing a student-run tech event I’m organizing on February 28th that is a valuable opportunity for your students interested in programming, game development, or creative technology! Fully beginner friendly, everything will be taught at the event!

During the event, all attendees will get useful skills, great food, a custom t-shirt for just participating, custom event badges, and win prizes! The event is all free to participants as well.

Who: High school students ages 13–18 (inclusively)

What: A 12-hour game jam where students design and build a game

Where: Redo Office, Draper (venue photos attached)

When: February 28th

Tools: Any game engine or programming tools are allowed! I'll be teaching how to use Godot, so all beginners are welcome

Requirement: Games must be published on itch.io by the end of the event, bringing a laptop

Experience level: No prior game development experience required!
