Session 3 summary: after leaving the pawn shop with the ghost hunting equipment and the guitar signed by Jelton Han, the party stopped by the local book store and cafe. Local rumors whisper about the mysterious third floor that not open to the public, so our party stealthy took apart the door handle with a screwdriver to unlock the door.
On the 3rd floor, they discovered a book shelf with a secret door that lead into a dusty lounge space. A college aged woman was stuck in there and cried for the party to help. While interested in helping, the party quickly realized that this kidnapping victim seemed off: she was dressed in vintage 1950’s clothing and thought that Eisenhower was president. With her ruse foiled, the woman revealed herself to be a demon, stuck in a summoning circle. The party left the being where they found it and left the coffee shop.
The party then decided to investigate the local library to discover why there would be a demon in the coffee shop. However, their research uncovered more questions than answers: an alleged government experiment eating the near by national forest alive, a local house that was once owned by a 1970’s cultist and an ex nazi officer and NASA engineer, and finally a book that promises magical powers and buried treasure.
