It’s been five years since tragedy struck at Camp Wordier, shutting the beloved camp down mid-summer.Now, against all odds, the camp is back to welcome a new batch of campers and to create new memories.
Before kicking off what we hope will be a totally rad summer of ‘86 at Camp Wordier, we’re inviting past campers to join us for a reunion.
But there’s a murderer in our midst at the camp reunion. Can you help us figure it out before it’s too late?
Attendees of this 1980s slasher-inspired murder mystery game will try to figure out the killer’s identity. We’ll provide you a character to portray – possibly even the murderer - and a series of clues over the weekend.
The game takes place at the St. Petersburg-Madeira Beach KOA kicking off Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. and running through 8 p.m. After the game is over, you’re welcome to join us for stories around the campfire late into the evening and breakfast Sunday morning if you choose to stay overnight at KOA.
Staying overnight at the KOA is NOT required to participate in this game. The KOA offers guest parking for a small fee.

Cost is $70 per person. This price includes participation in the murder mystery game; a group hike, arts & crafts, and other camp-type programming; lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday; and a Camp Wordier t-shirt. (You will be asked what size shirt you want at checkout.)
This price does NOT include your camping accommodations. Camp Wordier attendees are responsible for booking their own accommodations, which range from cabins to RV/tent sites.
