Camp Waterloo

Does your child have a wide range of intersts spanning performing arts to science? Do you want your child to have fun this summer but still be learning in some type of way? Camp Waterloo is for your kiddo!

Camp Waterloo is a unique day camp experience for elementary-aged kids in Austin, Texas. Five children will have the opportunity to explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathmatics) through the lens of dance, choreography, performance, and environmental education. Camp Waterloo runs August 1 - 5 from 9 am - 12 pm CDT with a special performance for friends and family on the last day at noon. It takes place outdoors in Pease Park. Campers should plan to bring water and a snack, hat, sunscreen, and a yoga mat or towel. Swimsuits are optional but there is a splash pad kids might want to cool off in during dance breaks. Outcomes include but are not limited to:

• Developing age appropriate collaboration and leadership skills
• Learning to be creative in critical thinking activities and apply critical thinking skills to dance and performing art activities
• Having fun and making new friends!
