WHAT:A weekend of support and fun for grieving children and teens. Offered to families in the Southwest Ohio region, Dayton and surrounding areas.
Camp Pathways is a unique experience designed to encourage children and teens to express their feelings of grief in a safe and fun environment. Professional grief counselors and trained volunteers lead group sessions and activities. Some of the benefits of the camp are:
An opportunity to be with other kids and teens who also have experienced the death of a loved one.
Group support time that provides grief activities.
Lots of fun, age appropriate outdoor activities such as swimming, games, and arts and crafts.
A memorial service that honors the memory of the loved one.

Friday, June 26, 2026 through Sunday, June 28, 2026
Day camp, not overnight

COST:
This camp program is available at no cost, thanks to the generous support from our community.
TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation will be provided from Ohio’s Hospice | Dayton campus to and from camp on the 26th and 27th, and to camp on the 28th with parents picking up from camp that day.
Friday, June 26: Parent drop off at Dayton Campus 7:15-7:45am; pick up from Dayton Campus 5:15-5:30 pm
Saturday, June 27: Parent drop off at Dayton Campus 7:15-7:45am; pick up from Dayton Campus 5:15-5:30 pm
Sunday, June 28: Parent drop off at Dayton Campus 7:15-7:45am; pick up from Camp Joy 1 pm.
Parents are invited to the 1 pm closing ceremony remembering loved ones with their child.
**There will NOT be transportation back to the Dayton Campus on Sunday.**
