Camp Craftaway: A Weekend Day for Crafty Adults

Spend a weekend taking taught by local PNW artists, learning new skills—from embroidery to needle felting to wood-burning—and creating with your hands.

You’ll take part in three days of fun-filled, hands-on crafting spread across 10 different workshops. Learn from experts in their field, meet local makers, and leave with lasting memories, craft supplies, and new skills.

Tickets are sold as either three days (all access) or two-day passes. Each ticket includes access to workshops (supplies sold separately) and other fun events during Camp Craftaway: the ice cream social and the supplies exchange.

Bring a buddy and save! If you and a friend want to attend together, buy a buddy pass. You'll each save $25 when you do. (Ticket must be bought together.)

Do I have to attend all three days?

No. We have two-day passes available (Friday – Saturday or Saturday – Sunday). Either way, you'll still get to take part in the ice cream social!

What are the different activities you'll offer?

Camp Craftway will offer a choice of 10 workshops to choose from. You can see our workshops here (we're still finalizing the full list), but they include embroidery, needle felting, wood burning, and more. If you attend all three days, you'll get to take 5. If you attend for two days, you'll take 4.

In addition to the workshops, we have opportunities to meet fellow campers with a craft supplies exchange and an ice cream social.

How do I pick my workshops and get supplies?

You will sign up for your workshops separately from buying a ticket, closer to the start of Camp Craftaway. Any supplies you need for the workshops will be waiting for you at the workshop (unless otherwise noted).

Is this an overnight camp? Are meals and lodging provided?

Camp Craftaway is a day camp. Lodging and meals are not provided.

I'm nervous about attending alone. Will I have fun?

Yes! Crafty people are fun—especially the kind that sign up for craft workshops ?

All workshops are beginner-friendly, so you won't be overwhelmed.

Crafting naturally invites conversation while we're working with our hands. If you're not sure what to say, just start talking about your pet or your favorite podcast!

Are refunds available?

Refunds are not available, but you can put the ticket towards next year's event. You may also sell your ticket and transfer the registration to someone else.
