Camp BW Kids: Brushstrokes of America
Throughout the week, young artists will:
🖼 Create vibrant pop art self-portraits inspired by Andy Warhol
📦 Design expressive cardboard face paintings in the style of Jimmy Cantrell
🐎 Craft striking animal silhouettes influenced by Native American Artist Oscar Howe
Campers will also discover how art and science connect when Learning Lamp To Go joins us to explore the physics behind Jackson Pollock’s famous pendulum-style painting techniques — experimenting with motion, gravity, and creative expression.
To bring history to life, we’ll embark on a field trip to Fort Ligonier, where campers will explore early American history and gain inspiration from the stories that helped shape our nation.
Brushstrokes of America blends art, history, and hands-on discovery into one unforgettable creative journey. If your child loves to paint, experiment, and explore, this camp is their canvas for summer fun.
