Theme: Celebrating 30 Years of Pokémon
Join us as we celebrate 30 years of Pokémon with a themed community photoshoot inspired by the iconic starter trio: Water, Fire, and Grass. Whether you're channeling nostalgia or bringing a fresh take, this is your moment to create.
Location: Forest Hill Park, Richmond VA
New Date: August 15, 2026
Time: 5:30PM-7:30PM EST
Cost: Free/ TFP only
The shoot will be divided into three themed segments:
Fire Type: Trainers and/ or their Pokemon partners channeling the likes of Charmander, Growlithe, Rapidash. Bold looks, high contrast, and dynamic, high-energy poses.
Water Type: Trainers and/ or their Pokemon partners inspired by Squirtle, Poliwag, Staryu, and more. Yes, even Magikarp. Flowing fabrics, cool tones, and aquatic energy.
Grass Type: Trainers and/ or their Pokémon partners inspired by Bulbasaur, Tangela, and Bellsprout. Earthy textures, florals, and nature-based styling.
All Pokémon types and creative interpretations are welcome between and within each hour, so feel free to bring any favorite Pokémon-inspired looks and mix them into the flow.
Who Should Come:
Photographers, Cosplayers, Models, and Creatives of all Experience levels
Come celebrate three decades of Pokémon through art, fashion, and community. This is a space to collaborate, experiment, and capture something memorable.
What to Bring:
Camera gear, Costumes, props, styled outfits, Water and snacks, and A collaborative mindset
Let’s have fun honoring 30 years of adventure, creativity, and evolution.
Open and free to all Pokémon trainers, cosplayers, models, and photographers.
