​The Cambridge Footlights are the world-famous student comedy society who first aired the talents of some of the foremost British comedians and actors. Coming back bigger and better than ever after 2 years off the stage, get ready to watch the Footlights Tour take the world by storm! Many of our former members have gone on to win Oscars, BAFTAs and other awards and enjoy success in the entertainment and media industry. We pride ourselves on our sensational alumni list, with Footlights helping to launch the careers of the likes of Emma Thompson, Stephen Fry, John Oliver, Mel Giedroyc, John Cleese, Miriam Margolyes, Hugh Laurie, Mitchell and Webb, Richard Ayoade, Olivia Colman, John Oliver and Sue Perkins.
