Cambodia Circular Economy Forum 2026

“The Cambodia Circular Economy Forum 2026 is organised by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in close cooperation with the Ministry of Environment (MoE) and other relevant line ministries”. The forum serves as a national platform to advance Cambodia’s transition towards a circular economy and support the implementation of key government strategies and action plans. It aims to foster dialogue among government institutions, private sector actors, development partners, academia, and civil society on innovative and practical solutions for sustainable waste and resource management.

Under the theme “Circular Economy in Action: From Policy to Prosperity,” this year's forum highlights that while foundational strategies are now firmly established in Cambodia, the current priority centers on effective implementation, mobilizing financing, and securing tangible benefits for local communities and enterprises across diverse operational sectors.
