CALM-Provider and Teacher (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means)
About this Event
Join us at CSU Western Campus on July 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM (MDT) for an in-person session focused on Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM). This is an evidence‑based training that equips providers and teachers to have brief, respectful conversations about temporarily reducing access to firearms, medications, and other lethal means during periods of higher suicide risk, helping families create practical, voluntary safety plans that protect lives while honoring individual rights.
