Sometimes the conversation that saves a life is the hardest to start.CALM Conversations is a free, 90 minute suicide prevention workshop that teaches practical ways to talk with someone who may be at risk. Participants will also learn how temporarily reducing access to lethal means, especially firearms, can help save lives.
This interactive training is designed for everyday community members as well as professionals. No prior mental health or suicide prevention training is required.
Who should attend:
General adult audiences, caregivers, community members, and professionals who want practical tools they can use in real life situations.
