Healing Through Yoga is hosting another round of Calm & Confident! ✨??
This program is an 8-week yin yoga series for women looking to manage their anxiety and increase their self-confidence. Classes are once a week, 60min long, with 8 women total.
Yin yoga is a slow, passive form of yoga. I will guide you into a pose, offer different variations of the pose depending on what works best for you, and we stay in the pose anywhere from 3-5min before transitioning to the next. This allows you to fully explore and sink into the pose, reaping the full benefits of it physically and mentally. Props are always offered and encouraged to help you in each pose (blocks, blankets, eye pillows, bolsters, etc).
Along with poses, I will be teaching you breathing techniques, somatic exercises, and meditations to use as tools inside and outside of the studio to help you reconnect with yourself and better manage your emotions, thoughts, and self-love. Weekly emails will be sent to follow up about each class and provide additional science-based tips and advice for you to implement throughout the week.
