Calling All Mothers: Put the Guns Down
About this Event
A Community Prayer Rally Against Gun Violence & Unjustified Police Brutality
Sunday, November 15, 2026 | 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Historic Courthouse | Downtown Newnan, Georgia
Our Children. Our Community. Our Responsibility.
The time has come for Coweta County to stand together in faith, unity, and love.
We are calling on mothers, fathers, pastors, churches, community leaders, law enforcement, and concerned citizens to join us for a peaceful community prayer rally addressing gun violence, unjustified police brutality, and the safety of our children.
Too many families are grieving. Too many mothers are hurting. Our children deserve to grow up in communities where they feel safe, protected, and valued.
This rally is about more than gathering for a moment. It is about coming together in prayer, supporting families, encouraging meaningful conversations, and calling for transparency, accountability, and positive change.
What to Expect
- Powerful community prayers
- Encouragement from faith and community leaders
- A call for peace, justice, and accountability
- Support for families affected by violence
- Community unity and opportunities to make a difference
This is a peaceful, family-friendly event open to everyone.
Admission is FREE! Registration is encouraged but not required.
We invite churches, organizations, families, and community members throughout Coweta County and surrounding areas to stand with us.
We cannot change yesterday, but together we can help shape a better tomorrow for our children.
