Calling all Dane County Nonprofits!
Are you looking to diversify and increase the capacity of your board of directors? Join us on June 27th for our third annual Beyond Boardwalk Academy Event!
Our Boardwalk Academy Alumni have completed a 9-week development series that strengthens their interpersonal and professional communication skills making them the perfect candidates to serve on your board. These non-traditional community leaders have critical points of view that are often absent from decision-making tables, and they are ready to share their time, talents and perspectives as lived-experience experts to create lasting, positive change in our community.
This event will feature a professional development presentation and offer time for you to network with Boardwalk Academy Alumni who are working to diversify the places and spaces where community decisions are made.
Event Schedule:
5:00 pm - Networking, dinner and beverages
5:30 pm - Presentation on professional development
6:30 pm - Continued networking, dessert and beverages
8:00 pm - Event ends
