You'll learn from Sylvia Wong, also known as Via Calligraphy, about what modern calligraphy is, the basic strokes and the foundational skills for writing basic letter forms with a brush pen. You'll also have time for hands-on learning with plenty of one-on-one time. This class is designed for beginners and no experience is necessary.

• 5:30 - 5:45 - INTRO - Introduction and lesson on calligraphy terminology and tools
• 5:45 - 6:30 - BASIC STROKES - Start with guided hands-on practice of basic brush strokes and the foundational skills for writing basic letter forms with a brush pen
• 6:30 - 7:00 - LETTERFORMS - Learn how to build letterforms with a practice alphabet and put the basic strokes into practice
• 7:00 - 7:30 - CUSTOM GIFT - Continue to practice letters and words, then get your notebook customized with your name!
