About this Event
Most cards and posters end up looking the same: store-bought, printed, forgettable. But imagine being the person who can turn a simple phrase into something beautiful — a hand-lettered birthday card, a quote framed on your wall, or a sign that actually gets noticed. Calligraphy and hand-lettering are an endlessly helpful skill to have in your back pocket— need a last minute birthday card? Write your favorite quote on a piece of cardstock! Need to make a poster stand out? Beautify the title!
This beginner-friendly workshop will show you how.
You’ll learn the basics of calligraphy and hand-lettering in a fun, approachable way. No experience needed — we’ll walk you through the fundamentals, give you time to practice, and by the end you’ll create a set of personalized greeting cards to take home.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- All materials provided: brush pen, tracing paper, cardstock, decorating supplies, and a handy guidebook.
- A new creative skill you can pull out anytime — from last-minute cards to meaningful keepsakes.
- A finished project: greeting cards that are personal, thoughtful, and way better than something off the rack.
All you need to bring is a favorite quote, phrase, or idea you’d love to see in your own hand-lettered style.
Seats are limited — reserve your spot and start creating words worth keeping.
