Art Contest, hors d'oeuvres and silent auction.
Temecula Art Contest and Silent Auction for Original art painting donated by Suboth Guimire. Open to the public.

Organized and juried by Temecula Valley Art League executive Board.
Cash prizes will be awarded for
First Place $100
Second Place $50
Third Place $25
Art Mediums accepted:
Members of the public are invited to participate by submitting up to 3 pieces of
2D art. Oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, accepted.
Art must be ready to hang with ā€œDā€ hooks and wire.

Entry fee of $20 for the first piece submitted, and $5.00 each for additional pieces. ( This applies to Diptychs, triptychs and more)
Hours: 10-11:00 drop off, 11:00-12:30 hanging for display, 12:30-1:30 closed for judging, 1:30-4:00 open to public.
4:00-4:30 winners announced & prices awarded. D'oeuvres and wine will be served.

Silent Auction for the 40" X 30" original painting generously donated by Subodh Ghimire, will be auctioned off at the event. Mr. Ghimire's work is inspired by the uniqueness of nature, by history, philosophy and science, and by his interactions with distinguished archaeologists and historians. Over the past decade, Mr. Ghimire has exhibited his work at exhibitions primarily in France and Nepal. His work was awarded Best in Show at a 2016 art exhibition of 125 artists from Europe and Nepal. His pieces of this size have sold for $3,200.00.
Temecula Valley Art League is one of the oldest non-profit organizations, supporting fine artist since 1977. Originally founded by Mary Davis a proactive and philanthropist Temecula citizen.
Temecula Valley Art league is governed by its members and together through voluntarism had maintained one of the oldest art league in the valley.
Temecula Valley Art League has been a place for fine artist emerging and professional artist to enjoy monthly demonstrations, mingling with creative people, organizing art exhibits, participating in art shows and offering outreach programs and scholarships in the Inland Empire. Temecula Valley Art League (TVAL) welcomes artist and emerging artist from Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Anza, Rainbow, Hemet, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Hills, Canyon Lake and surrounding areas.
