About this Event

Call-on Congress is Fight Colorectal Cancer’s (Fight CRC) signature advocacy event. Now in its 20th year, Call-on Congress was born from Fight CRC founder Nancy Roach’s vision and deeply held belief that advocacy has to be at the heart of what we do at Fight CRC, and that patients need to be at the table where policy decisions are being made.

Fight CRC proudly remains the sole colorectal cancer patient advocacy organization that hosts a day of advocacy in Washington, D.C., where patients, survivors, caregivers, loved ones, and medical professionals meet with elected officials to share their stories. Our devoted advocacy team at Fight CRC ensures every advocate is well-equipped to share their story to create policy change.

By registering for this event you will receive:
  • Fight CRC Swag Bag
  • Virtual & in-person advocacy training
  • Access to exclusive advocacy resources
  • Scheduled congressional meetings
  • Meals (Monday breakfast & lunch, and Tuesday breakfast & dinner)

Preparation Tips:
  • Training Materials: Prior to the event, review any training materials provided to familiarize yourself with key talking points and advocacy strategies.

  • Attire: Bring all your blue! Dress in casual attire for training sessions and business casual for meetings on Capitol Hill. Comfortable shoes are recommended due to walking distances.
