Call for Abstracts and Panelists
The National Air Toxics Conference is now accepting proposals for the 2025 National Air Toxics Conference (April 15-17, 2025), with technical presentations and panels taking place April 16-17, 2025, at The Westin Downtown Denver in Denver, CO.
We are seeking both technical presenters and panelists to lead discussions on the following air toxics topics:
- State Air Toxics Programs
- Local Air Toxics Issues
- Best Practices for Working with Tribes
- PFAS or other Emerging Contaminants
- Wildfire and Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Air Toxics
- Air Toxics Permits and Enforcement
- Case Studies on Specific Air Toxics Emissions Sources (i.e, metal recycling, asphalt industries, etc)
- Analyzing and Interpreting Air Toxics Monitoring Data
- Instrumentation for Monitoring Air Toxics
- Methods to Assess Community Exposures and Risks from Air Toxics
- Air Toxics Risk Communication and Meaningful Engagement
- Air Toxics Environmental Justice and Cumulative Impact Considerations

If you are interested in being a presenter or panelist on any of these topics, please apply before December 5, 2024. We will notify those who applied as to whether their proposal has been accepted by December 20, 2024. Registration will open up for all presenters, panelists, and attendees on January 15, 2025.
For those interested in giving a technical presentation, you will be asked for:
- A 300-word abstract describing your proposed presentation’s content and learning goals
For those interested in participating in a panel, you will be asked to explain for:
- 2 sentences max describing your potential contribution to a panel on your chosen topic.
Event Overview
Air toxics risk assessment and communication continues to evolve over the years, and important emerging issues have been identified that require strong partnerships across federal, state, local, and tribal air toxics professionals.
The NATC provides an in-person forum for USEPA and partners to share experiences and information with air toxics professionals across federal, state, local, and tribal regulatory organizations.

Registration Information
Registration is free-of-charge and will open up for all presenters, panelists, and attendees on January 15, 2025. Please RSVP no later than March 18, 2025.
Note: A max capacity of 350 attendees has been allotted for this event. Registration may close prior to the March date if capacity is reached.
When registering, please use your work email, not a personal email address.

Meals
Food and beverages will NOT be provided at this conference. There will be complimentary tea & coffee breaks on April 16 & 17 and a daily break for attendees to leave the premises for lunch. There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the hotel and food to purchase inside the hotel as well.
