Black Oak Artists Pi Jacobs & Ashley E. Norton are teaming up on the CaliRound Tour. They’ll each be bringing original singer-songwriter and Americana music, trading sets and collaborating. Expect lots of harmony and percussion from two unique artists in one incredible show.
Pi Jacobs draws inspiration from her unconventional upbringing in “The Land of W**d and Wine” aka Northern California, by blending roots-rock swagger with a storytelling soul. Armed with an old Gibson, her “sultry and “explosive” (Glide Magazine) voice, and a thumping homemade stomp box, Pi creates a show that is a fun, high energy, affair. Glen Starkey (New Times SLO) writes: "….you'll forget your problems for a few hours” Her new album, Soldier On, (Blackbird Record Label), was in the top 100 of the Americana Music Association Radio Chart, for four months, with ten weeks in the top 50 (2024). Pi’s music has been featured on NPR, DittyTV, Austin Music TV, Americana Highways, American Songwriter Magazine and radio around the nation.

Ashley E. Norton is Ramona California’s co-citizen of the year, fearless leader of Americana all female Americana band, Lady Psychiatrist’s Booth, lead singer for rock band “Ash & The Mondays, producer of the popular all female Songwriter showcase, “Songbirds,”, co-founder of the Ramona Music Alliance and solo artist. Ashley’s new solo album is critically acclaimed across the USA and Europe with production from Johnny Garcia (Trisha Yearwood/Garth Brooks guitarist), charting on the Euro-Americana charts and spun nationwide on Americana radio (Broken Jukebox/Hemifran.) She has independently toured the world for many years with folk duo, Whitherward. Most importantly, her dog sometimes sings with her if the venue allows.
