About the producer
We are incredibly excited to welcome Kevin Travis from Starmont & Merryvale Vineyards for a three-hour winemaker dinner exploring the icons, the rebels, and the hidden gems of California’s wine scene, from the powerhouse Cabernets of Napa and Santa Barbara to the wild, sun-drenched wines of Paso Robles and Santa Ynez. All the wines come from Starmont & Merryvale Vineyards - one Napa family, two estates, doing things properly since Jack Schlatter and co. took over Merryvale in 1996. They've spent decades turning Profile Estate fruit into old-world-style, estate-grown wines, then planted Stanly Ranch down in Carneros in 2001, now home to Starmont's sustainably-grown whites.
What to expect
After a welcome drink, Kevin will guide you through the evening, taking you on a journey across five wines from the estates. You’ll experience the vibrancy of their Cabernets and the storied complexity of their Chardonnays- five glasses in total, all paired with a five-course seasonal and Californian menu prepared by our Executive Chef.
If you fall in love with the wines on the night, your ticket also includes a £40 voucher to redeem on the evening towards any case of six wines. Our team will be on hand to help you arrange your order.
