About this Event
The California Land Use Law and Planning Conference
The California Land Use Law and Planning Conference, long recognized as California’s premier event for land use professionals, is now proudly hosted by Arizona State University in partnership with the W. P. Carey Center for Real Estate and Finance.
This new collaboration marks the next evolution of the conference—offering the same trusted updates on California legislation and case law, while broadening opportunities to engage with leaders in planning, law, development, and real estate.
Returning in partnership with the W. P. Carey Center for Real Estate and Finance, the conference offers a unique opportunity to connect, engage, and stay informed on the latest developments shaping land use and planning in California.
Through a cross-disciplinary program, leading experts provide practical insights on state and federal case law, legislation, and emerging issues. Attendees gain both a big-picture perspective and actionable guidance that informs the daily work of planners, attorneys, developers, policymakers, and consultants.
Whether you are a seasoned professional or a student preparing to enter the field, this conference delivers the knowledge and connections needed to navigate California’s complex land use landscape.
