There are 2 options to book your class. Each option consists of 3 session/days.
OPTION 1
Session 1 - MONDAY - Pacific Outfitters of Eureka - 6:00pm to 9:30pm
Session 2 - WEDNESDAY - Pacific Outfitters of Eureka - 6:00pm to 9:30pm
Session 3 - FRIDAY - Redwood Gun Club (Qualification Shoot) - 10:00am to 2:00pm
OPTION 2
Session 1 - TUESDAY - Pacific Outfitters of Eureka - 6:00pm to 9:30pm
Session 2 - THURSDAY - Pacific Outfitters of Eureka - 6:00pm to 9:30pm
Session 3 - FRIDAY - Redwood Gun Club (Qualification Shoot) - 10:00am to 2:00pm
About
This class is for first-time applicants for a California Concealed Weapons permit or people who let their CCW lapse for more than 1 year. This class is in HIGH demand, so sign up now!
The California CCW course is required by the state to carry any concealed weapon in California.
Your class is broken up into 3 session/days. See above for details.
You are allowed to have up to 3 firearms on your CCW permit. **Bring your firearms to SESSION 2 & 3 of your class.
50 rounds of ammunition are needed to complete the shooting qualification for each firearm. It is recommended that you bring more than 50 rounds, just incase you need it.
Bring extra magazines for each pistol for your shooting qualification.
Bring a holster for each firearm for the shooting qualification.
The Shooting Test:
CCW SHOOTING TEST COURSE OF FIRE:
3 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and 4 shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
5 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and 4 shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
7 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and 2 shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
10 Yards - 10 shots to the Thoracic Cavity and no shots to the Cranial Ocular Cavity.
50 shots total, per caliber, per handgun.
SHOOTING QUALIFICATION RULES:
Initial CCW students bring a minimum of 50 rounds of ammo for each qualifying firearm.
Anything inside the HEAD counts as a head shot.
Anything inside the BODY counts as a body shot.
Anything outside of those two areas count as a MISS.
No make up shots. If you shoot too many shots in a specific zone, each additional shot will count as a MISS. COUNT YOUR SHOTS!
If your firearm jams more than three times (TYPE 1,2, or 3 MALFUNCTIONS) we fill fail your firearm.
If you MUZZLE your instructor or fellow students or do anything your instructor considers to be negligent, you will be disqualified and asked to leave immediately.
If you miss more than 5 shots you will FAIL the test.

What to Bring
Up to 3 qualifying firearms
At least 50 rounds of qualifying ammunition for each firearm. Factory new ammunition only. No reloads.
Bring as many extra magazines as you have for your shooting qualification. You should have a minimum of three magazines per firearm.
Holsters for all firearms. No NYLON or "pancake" style holsters. Must be LEATHER or KYDEX and made specifically for the MAKE/MODEL of your firearm.
Hearing Protection
Eye Protection
Food/Hydration for your range day.
