About this Event
Celebrate California Arbor Week by spending time with the beautiful, majestic trees of Capitol Park.
Join one of the Sacamento Tree Foundation arborists for a guided tour of the park's historic evergreen giants and learn about the unusual and beautiful trees around the capitol. From pines and cypress to live oaks and bay trees, learn how to identify these trees and why they are special.
We'll be meeting at the northeast end of the park, at the corner of 15th Street and L Street.
After the tour, you are welcome to walk with us to Mattie Groves Brewery, two blocks from Capitol Park, where they are offering paid attendees from our tour a 20% discount off drinks! They also serve pizza and snacks.
Please note: The ticket price for this event does not cover the price of any drinks or food ordered at Mattie Groves Brewery. Attendees are responsible for purchasing their own food and/or discounted drinks at Mattie Groves Brewery. Attendance at the brewery is completely optional.
Register now! The week before this event, we will send a logistics email with details about the event. You will receive this email ONLY if you are signed-up.
Who should attend?
Everyone is encouraged to attend! Families with children are welcome. Mattie Groves Brewery is kid- and pet-friendly.
