Calgary Collegiate Esports Invitational | VALORANT Summer Series
About this Event
The CCEI Summer Series 2026 is a competitive VALORANT league hosted by Bow Valley College and Calgary Esports United.
Designed to bridge online competition and live esports experiences, the Summer Series features a six-week online season where teams compete for a coveted spot in the CCEI Fall LAN Championship (August 28-29, 2026).
Unlike traditional weekend tournaments, the Summer Series rewards consistency, teamwork, communication, and long-term performance. Teams will compete in a Double Round Robin group stage, earning points throughout the season in pursuit of a Top 8 finish and qualification for the LAN Finals at Bow Valley College.
Whether you're representing a collegiate program, esports club, community team, or simply looking to test your skills against Western Canada's best competitors, the Summer Series provides a structured, broadcast-supported competitive environment designed to elevate the local esports ecosystem.
Tournament Details
- Game: VALORANT
- Format: 6-Week Online Season + LAN Championship
- Team Capacity: 16 Teams
- Entry Fee: $60 CAD per Team
- Age Requirement: 16+
- Online Season: July 13 – August 23, 2026
- LAN Championship: August 28–29, 2026
- Venue: Bow Valley College South Campus, Calgary, AB
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the LAN Championship.
Registration closes July 10, 2026.
This event is funded by the City of Calgary. Please note - as this is a public event there will be photography and videography.
