When Annie’s husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four fellow Women’s Institute members to pose nude with them for an “alternative” calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence.
The news of the women’s charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village of Knapeley in the Yorkshire Dales. The calendar is a success, but Chris and Annie’s friendship is put to the test under the strain of their newfound fame.

ABOUT THE AUDITION
No performers will be asked to perform nude for this play. All nudity in the show is implied and each performer will be met at her level of comfort to creatively stage calendar scenes. There will also be an intimacy coordinator for this production.
Please bring a headshot and resume if you have one. This is not required.
Please prepare a 1-minute monologue, any genre. Callbacks will consist of cold reads from the script.

Callbacks will be held Monday, December 11 at Theatre Tulsa’s studio space. Callback notifications will be sent no later than December 10 at 10pm.
IMPORTANT INFO
Rehearsals will begin February 5, 2024. A tentative rehearsal calendar will be available to view at auditions.
Performances will be March 15-24 at The Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
