About this Event
The Cal Poly Alumni — Washington D.C. Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly’s founding from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Aslin Beer Company (1740 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20009).
Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.
This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.
The event is free to attend, but registration is requested to ensure an accurate head count for this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day giveaways. Beverages will be available for purchase. The event will be held on the heated patio. The event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters ages 21 and over.
Space is limited. Registration closes on Thursday, March 5 at noon or when full.
We hope to see you there!
