Cal Poly Alumni — San Jose Community Founders Day Celebration

The Cal Poly Alumni — San Jose Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding date on Saturday, March 8, at 5:30 p.m., at J. Lohr Vineyard & Wines (1000 Lenzen Ave, San Jose, CA 95126).

On March 8, 1901, Governor Henry Gage signed legislation establishing Cal Poly. This exciting announcement came after a group of local citizens led by journalist Myron Angel had been lobbying for a state school in San Luis Obispo since 1894.

Join us for a fun evening of networking and socializing with fellow Mustangs, and celebrate being a Cal Poly alumni! You will also have the opportunity to hear from leaders on the Cal Poly Alumni Association Board of Directors and volunteers from the Cal Poly Alumni Association.

Tickets are $30 and include a seasonal tasting flight (five wines), cheese, charcuterie platters and a special swag item. This family-friendly event is open to Cal Poly alumni, supporters, and guests.
