Cal Poly Alumni — San Diego Community Founders Day Celebration

The Cal Poly Alumni — San Diego Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at New English Brewing (11545 Sorrento Valley Rd #305, San Diego, CA 92121).

Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.

This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.

Tickets are $20 and include a drink ticket, taquito appetizers, and this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day swag. Additional beverages are available for purchase. The event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters of all ages.
