Cal Poly Alumni — Orange County Community Founders Day Celebration

The Cal Poly Alumni — Orange County Community invites you to celebrate Cal Poly's founding from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at Hangar 24 Orange County (17877 Von Karman Ave Unit 110, Irvine, CA 92614).

Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.

This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy celebrating everything you love about Cal Poly.

Tickets are $14 and include a drink ticket, light snacks, and this year’s limited-edition Cal Poly Founders Day swag. Additional food and beverages are available for purchase. The event is open to Cal Poly alumni and supporters of all ages.
