Cal Poly Alumni - Mustang Band Chinese New Year Parade Performance

The Cal Poly Alumni - Mustang Band Community invites you to the annual Chinese New Year Parade and alumni social in San Francisco, CA on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 3 p.m. PT.

Cal Poly alumni of all backgrounds are invited to gather and celebrate during this annual event! Members of the Cal Poly Alumni - Mustang Band Community will be gathering before the parade, so be sure to stop by to meet old friends and make new ones.

Schedule of Events:

3-3:50 p.m. - Cal Poly Mustang Band and UC Davis Marching Band Pre-Parade Performance at the Ferry Building (1 Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA 94105). Catch a sneak peak of the Mustang Band in action as they go toe-to-toe with the UC Davis marching band ahead of the main event. Registered attendees will receive pom-poms and Cal Poly swag.

5:15 p.m. - Chinese New Year Parade Viewing. Cal Poly alumni will be congregating on Market Street between Montgomery and Geary (toward the start of the parade route). Find yourself a spot on the street and prepare to celebrate and cheer on the Mustang Band as they participate in this time-honored tradition! Don't forget to wear your green and gold so you can spot fellow Mustangs in the crowd and show your pride. For more information on the parade, including the full route, visit their website here.
