The Cal Neva Trombone Quartet performs, made up of professional trombonists teaching at major universities in California and Nevada. Featuring Jim Albrecht (on the faculty at the University of Nevada, Reno and serves as Principal Trombone for the Reno Philharmonic), Christian Paarup (serves on the trombone faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Academy and has performed with the San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Opera & Ballet, Dallas Symphony, Houston Symphony, and others), Steve Perdicaris (serves on faculty at Sacramento State and is a member of the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera), and Russ Zokaites (serves as Professor of Trombone and Euphonium at Fresno State University and recorded the Fuchs Bass Trombone Concerto with the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own").
