{CAIRNS HUB} Veteran Carers Social Connection
About this Event
Join us for a special Remembrance Day gathering for veteran carers, offering an opportunity to connect, share experiences and enjoy the company of others who understand the unique journey of caring for a veteran.
This relaxed and welcoming get-together is a chance to take some time for yourself, meet fellow carers, enjoy a cuppa and strengthen connections within the veteran carer community.
As we pause to remember and honour those who have served, we also recognise the vital role carers play in supporting veterans and their families.
Whether you're looking to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces or simply enjoy a friendly afternoon together, you're warmly invited to join us.
Come along, connect with your community and share in a meaningful day of remembrance and connection.
Open to all registered Carers. If you're not yet registered with Carer Gateway, you can still reserve a spot (make sure you fill out all the contact details) and our friendly Hub Navigator will follow up with you.
*Carer Gateway is a national support service funded by the Australian Government. It provides free services for anyone caring for a family member or friend who has a disability, mental health condition, chronic health condition, terminal illness, or is frail aged.
