The Cadaveric Transperineal Prostate Biopsy Workshop will be held in The ASSERT Centre, College of Medicine & Health, UCC on Friday 7th February 2025. The half-day workshop is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and comprehensive knowledge in performing transperineal prostate biopsies on cadaveric specimens.
By the end of the Cadaveric Transperineal Prostate Biopsy Workshop, participants should be able to:
- Perform transperineal prostate biopsy with precision and confidence.
- Effectively use ultrasound guidance for accurate needle placement during the biopsy procedure.
- Identify and manage potential complications associated with transperineal prostate biopsies.
