🚀 About the Camp
Turn your digital imagination into a tangible, physical reality! In this fast-paced, hands-on engineering camp, students will step into the shoes of a real-world product designer. Using Onshape - the professional, industry-standard computer-aided design (CAD) software - campers will learn how to sketch, model, and extrude complex 3D objects completely from scratch on a computer.
Once their digital blueprints are perfect, campers will dive into the mechanics of 3D printing. They will learn how a modern 3D printer operates, how to optimize their designs for manufacturing, and how to watch their creations layer-by-layer turn into real plastic prototypes. From custom mechanical parts to creative artistic gadgets, kids will experience the exact design cycle used by engineers worldwide!
