Cacao Counsel - ORIGIN - The Story of Creation
About this Event
ORIGIN
October 10 | 5–7 PM
Our initiation into the Cacao Council Series begins outdoors, gathered in circle outside of fern apotheca in the heart of downtown Charleston, SC.
Cacao has traveled across lands and generations—from its ancient cultivation and sacred ceremonial use to the chocolate we recognize today.
Together, we’ll trace cacao back to its origins, exploring the people, places, traditions, and stories held within this revered plant medicine... and of course, enjoy a traditional preparation of sacred cacao.
Abigail McClam and Alejandro de Santiago ( joining via zoom ) will be your co-facilitators. Together they share collectively over 30 years of study, practice, and respect for the rich ancient traditional medicine plant.
