Cacao Circle & Sound Journey

We will begin with a cacao circle, where we will drink a warm cup of ceremonial grade cacao; a gentle plant medicine that works with the heart's energy and will open us to receive from a space of love. From this place of alignment with our hearts, we will relax into the healing vibrations of sacred sound healing instruments and experience deep relaxation and restoration, leaving us in a state of bliss, peace and harmony during the holiday season.

About Cacao:

Ceremonial Cacao is essentially chocolate in its raw, purest form, cacao is derived from cacao beans that come from the Theobroma cacao fruit tree. Cacao is considered a superfood and has numerous health benefits including boosting the immune system, enhancing cognitive function, reducing stress, improves the heart and has numerous vitamins. Cacao gently opens up the emotional center of our body-the heart chakra-bringing life and love into your energetic field. Through opening the heart, it enables us to hear our true self and brings us back to the feeling of love, oneness, and connection.

About Sound Journey:

A sound journey, or sound bath, is healing modality that channels into the unseen and subtle realms of our being. The healing frequencies and energy of sacred vibrational sound to relax the mind, body and spirit, bringing it to a state of harmony, or peace and to also allow for deep healing to occur. A wide variety of ancient sacred sound healing instruments are used including drums, rattles, Native American style flutes, Crystal Alchemy singing bowls, chimes and more to create a transformative journey into our heart center.

How to Prepare:

It is recommended to eat lightly before consuming cacao to help further with absorption. Cacao contains theobromine, a natural stimulant that may interfere with sleep when taking later in the day. If you are sensitive to caffeine, a smaller dose is recommended.

What to Bring:

• Items for your comfort while sitting and laying down during the event. Items such as a cushioned yoga mat, pillow, blanket, eye mask and anything else you may need to feel cozy. Community mats, blankets and bolsters will be available.
• Bottled water
• Journal and pen/pencil
• Comfortable clothes
