This is exactly what the cacao ceremony THE BECOMING is for. A sacred space to listen to your Soul, remember what your life is asking of you, and meet the version of you that you're meant to become.
On a cozy afternoon at the beginning of fall, we gather in the Maarten Luther church in Amsterdam: a sanctuary where you can allow yourself to be held by the space and your Soul's wisdom.
Through ceremonial cacao, shamanic journeying, ritual, music and reflection, you'll be guided to remember what you want, release what's been standing in the way, and gather the courage to begin living it.
You'll leave feeling closer to yourself, clearer about your next step, and more ready to act on what you already know.

WHAT IS A CACAO CEREMONY?
A cacao ceremony is a sacred shamanic ritual that has been gifted to us by the Mayan and Aztec tradition. Cacao helps you to awaken spiritually. It quiets the mind, opens your heart and brings you in touch with your true self.
She is the plant that supports your ability to connect to your Soul. She is the medicine that restores the connection to your inner knowing. Of course, she will be a part of the Sacred Temple ceremony.
Cacao helps you slow down and come closer to what you already know. She opens space for your feelings, desires and truths that are easy to override in everyday life. The she opens your heart, so you can find the courage to follow your heart.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During a cacao ceremony, you drink a ceremonial dose of cacao (35 grams), after you’ve set your intention for your ceremony and soul journey.
After drinking the cacao, you will be led into a transcendent Shamanic Soul Journey meditation. During this guided meditation, you will go on an inner journey in which you will tap into the wisdom of your Soul with the help of mother cacao. From this place you can receive the answers and insights that you’re longing for.
In my ceremonies I also use music, singing and sound meditation. These vibrations will help to open you up. This will help you experience the magic of mother Cacao even more. There will also be sharing in the circle, and (journaling) exercises.
After the cacao ceremony, you will feel relaxed, energized, connected, happy, and maybe even a bit enlightened.
Please note: cacao is not a drug or psychedelic. Cacao is a safe plant and won’t make you high or hallucinate.

Hi, I’m Hailey, shamanic practitioner, Soul guide, cacao ceremonialist, and founder of Soul Shamanism™.
I believe most people know, somewhere deep down, that there is more to life than what they experience daily. A different way of living that feels more aligned and gives more meaning, freedom, and joy. I believe that this longing for more comes from the Soul.
My work is devoted to helping people find their way back to their soul. When you give that wise inner voice the space it deserves, you remember what truly matters, understand what has been pulling you away from it, and find the courage to follow your heart.
A beautiful and powerful way to connect to your inner guidance, is in ceremony. As a trained shamanic practitioner and cacao ceremonialist, I have seen the transformative power of ceremony up close many times.
Something special happens when we gather in ceremony with the intention to align with our spirit and our life’s path.
Life becomes worth living when we allow the deepest part of ourselves to lead.
The Becoming is an invitation to remember your Soul’s call. To listen. To remember. And to step into all you’re becoming.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR CEREMONY
- Wear comfortable and warm clothes.
- It's advised to not drink coffee on the day of the ceremony. If not drinking coffee gives you a headache, try to drink less coffee and in a lower dose.
- It's advised to not drink alcohol or use drugs the day before and on the day of the ceremony.
- Don’t eat anything at least 3 hours before the ceremony.
- You can bring a notebook and pen (and crystals if you like).
- It's not advised to drink a ceremonial doses of cacao (35 gram) if:
- Have severe heart problems
- Are on a high doses of antidepressants that contain MAOIs
- Use Medic*tion against high blood pressure.
- You’re pregnant: it's okay to drink ceremonial cacao while pregnant, but cacao can activate your baby or cause nausea. If you're not familiar with drinking cacao while pregnant, please contact me.
Please note that this not medical advice: consult your doctor if you want to join a ceremony but are not sure if this is suitable for you. I can always make a milder dose of cacao specially for you.
