About this Event
Cacao & Create
Awaken your creative spirt with the heart-opening power of ceremonial cacao!
This isn't your average cup of hot chocolate! Ceremonial cacao, revered for millennia by indigenous cultures, is a potent plant medicine traditionally used to unlock creativity and enhance intuition. During this guided ceremony & creative practice, we'll harness the power of ceremonial-grade cacao to melt away creative blocks, ignite your inner artist, and guide you towards a state of inspired flow.
This ceremony is perfect for you if you're seeking:
- A deeper connection to yourself: Cacao can gently open your heart, fostering self-love, gratitude, and inner peace.
- Greater clarity and creativity: Unlock new perspectives and ignite your creative spark.
- Release and emotional healing: Cacao can create a space for gentle release of negative emotions and limiting beliefs.
- A sense of community: Connect with others in a supportive and like-minded environment.
What to Expect:
Our ceremony will be a guided experience led by Meg Foreman, a certified facilitator passionate about the intersection of art and self-discovery. The event will include:
- Intention Setting: Come up with a personal intention for what you are wanting to experience through this journey. We will share these as a group, but sharing is optional.
- Cacao Invocation and Consumption: Hold your intention as you savor a cup of this heart-opening
- Guided Visualization for Artistic Awakening: Embark on a short guided meditation specifically designed to activate your creative channels and connect with your inner artist.
- Art-Making Experience: Following the meditation, Meg will introduce you to a meditative art form called Neuro-graphic Art, and then you will engage in an art-making session using a variety of mediums. Allow the cacao to guide your hand and let your brain take a little vacation. (Art materials will be provided)
Leave feeling lighter, more connected, and empowered to create positive change in your life.
We have a limit of 10 spots available, so get your ticket soon!
Disclaimer: If you are taking MAOI antidepressants there is a risk of migraines. Cacao is a stimulant, so if you have high blood pressure but still want to participate, let Meg know and she will prepare you a cup with less cacao in it. Meg's recipe for cacao includes oatmilk, vanilla, cinnamon, & small amount of maple syrup. If you have an allergy to any of these items please let her know so she can make you a separate cup.
