Step into one of Toronto’s most historic and architecturally rich neighbourhoods with guided walking tours hosted by the Cabbagetown Preservation Association.These curated experiences explore the fascinating history, architecture, and stories that have shaped Cabbagetown into the vibrant “village within the city” it is today.
As you stroll through tree-lined streets filled with beautifully preserved Victorian homes, hidden laneways, and historic landmarks, knowledgeable guides will share stories of the neighbourhood’s people, cultural heritage, and evolution over generations. Whether you’re a history enthusiast, architecture lover, or curious explorer, these tours offer a unique opportunity to experience the charm and heritage of Cabbagetown in a whole new way.
This is a family friendly event for ages 12+, and will proceed unless there is heavy rain, in which case it will be cancelled. Be sure to arrive promptly at the start time, as the walking tour will begin right away.
Accessibility: This tour will be 2-3 hours of continuous walking, so be sure to bring water, hats and sunscreen! Public bathrooms will be available along the tour.
