Most evenings, Günter is a restaurant. On selected nights, the tables move closer together, a microphone appears, and the room becomes one of Vienna’s most intimate comedy venues.
The last Cabaret Republic show filled the room with 40 guests who came for English-language stand-up—and quickly became one audience. Now, a new lineup of Vienna-based and international comedians takes over the restaurant for another night of jokes, personal stories, dark humor and absurd observations about modern life.
Cabaret Republic is made for expats, travelers, locals, and anyone who enjoys live comedy in English. Each edition features a rotating selection of established local performers, touring comedians, and rising voices from Vienna and beyond.
Enjoy dinner or drinks before the performance, then settle into a close, energetic room where every laugh matters. Reserve early because seats are limited and become part of the next chapter.
